Botterman (9.900), senior Sarah Curtis (9.850) and freshman Brittnee Martinez (9.850) placed 1-2 respectively on this event. Beam was a bit rusty (48.225) in the third rotation, but highlights included dual 9.825 scores by Curtis and senior Jordan Sexton for second place overall. The University of Iowa’s Houry Gebeshian placed first with a 9.850. In the final rotation, the Wolverines featured 6 high-level opening passes (tucked full-in, piked full-in, arabian double front, double pike, front double full-punch front) to post a 48.825 team total and the win. Beilstein placed first with a 9.9, while senior Jaclyn Kramer finished second (9.775).
