Team Talk with Kelsey

Hello Michigan Gymnastics Fans! The team is VERY excited for the season to start, and we hope you are too!  The coaches have made our preseason a lot of fun. The freshmen, Brittnee, Katie, and Natalie, b04_128_teammates_6442ring a lot to our team.  We can’t wait for their debut in Crisler Arena when we host the intrasquad on Saturday night.  Plus, we can’t wait to show everyone what we have learned over the summer.  Kylee learned a new combination on beam where she incorporates her series into her dismount.  Jordan is back swinging bars, and Sarah and Jackie have learned a new tumbling pass. And, there are even more cool things to come!

Along with our hard work in the gym, we volunteered at the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome and the Pan-Can walk for Pancreatic Cancer at the Detroit Zoo. Also, for Halloween, the coaches put together a scavenger hunt throughout campus. We took pictures in front of historic places on campus and posed with athletic directors, staff, and coaches…all in our Halloween costumes! Although I didn’t get to participate because my brother got married that same weekend, I saw the pictures, and I know I definitely missed out on a great time.
